Hello strangers!!!!

....news jiffy....

You can buy digital downloads of The Rumblist at www.virusb-23.co.uk

19th August 2008 - It's Been A Long Time!!! Hello all....yes it has indeed been a long time since i last updated the website. Been sobusy with other things that this had to be put on the backburner for a while. I'm hoping soon to have a redesigned website with quite a few new tunes. I've had to remove the Create Festival and Glitchnight sets from the site as they were receiving too many hits apparently...i think the site has been trawled by dodgy russian MP3 websites. So if you want a copy of the sets, send me an email!! I'll probably look to host them on Archive.org in the future. Been writing lots of new stuff using Logic Pro 8 on the Mac and its sounding better than ever, mainly due to my Nord power and Logic's exceptional mastering effects. Awesome......soon you will hear too!!! :-)

13th August 2007 - Moshimoshi! Head over to The Rumblist's MySpace for a selection of four new tunes taken from my recent live set at the poorly organized Create Festival. The tunes are Sfodo1, B is a C, Druborn (Mat's Favourite) and Laughing Man (My Favourite!!). Am just working on the final mixdown of the live set, which will be available for download in the near future. Special thanks go to Pauline and Rachel for boogieing for the entire 45 minute set!! Top Dancing girls!! Also, i will be putting out some new material under the new guise of theRst - this will be more ambient, experimental material. There's a taster of the type of song available at theRst's MySpazz page. Enjoy!

7th June 2007 - Hello Again!! Been so busy with college and writing new tunes that i haven't updated the website for a while, but thought I should mention that I will be playing live next month at Ashford's Create Festival on Sunday July 29th. This will be the second year that Create has run an electronic music tent, so come down and help make this year's event one to remember!! Also, i hope to be playing a lot of new material this year - a lot more uptempo, glitched up live madness, so should be fun!

3rd January 2007 - HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! As a new year's treat, you can now download a copy of my live set i performed at Glitchnight in October 2006. This forty minute set features a few favourites such as Subversif Tones, Who Got New Toys and Peshett as well as new tunes such as Sfodo 1, Footy Song Remix, Bicycle Day Remix and Bibybrum. Click here to download a copy - nice small file size this time!!!

10th December 2006 - My new tune, Subversif Tones, will feature on the 1st year anniversary compilation from Virus B23....here's the advert - click on it to head over to Virus B23's MySpazz page where you can hear a selection of the tracks from this collection.

16th November 2006 - There are now three new tunes up on my MySpace player (Click here). These are:

.................................. Bicycle Day (The Rumblist remix)

.................................................... Footy Song (The Rumblist remix)

................................................................... Subversif Tones (Not a remix!!!)

The Bicycle Day remix was done for a recent remix competition held on Virus B23, using a tune by Neoteric, he of the wonky bassa! The Footy Song remix was done especially for the Glitchnight live show, and Subversif Tones is just, well, new!! Enjoy....there are more tunes on the way soon as well as the Glitchnight live set for download......sooooon!!!

9th November 2006 - The gig at Glitchnight was fantastic!!!! Not only did i get to play through a kick-ass sound system, i got to see Minotaur Shock live and they were brilliant! A massive thanks to everyone at Glitchnight for asking me to play. I'm just working on mastering the set and i'll have it available to download from Virus B23. Watch this space (or myspace!) for more details. Also, i will be putting up some new songs on MySpazz over the next couple of weeks to give them a whirl.

17th October 2006 - You can catch me playing live this Friday 20th October at the Command House in Chatham. I will be playing as part of an Amnesty International gig and should be on around 9pm onwards. If anyone's in the area please come down and say hi!!!

7th October 2006 - I have another gig! Check it out....

Gonna be a bit of a trek all the way to Bristol, but it should be a wicked night. Glitchnight has been running for a while now both in Bristol and now London as well and has brought together some of the best names in the IDM/glitch scene. Check out www.glitchnight.com for more details!

20th September 2006 - I have lent one of my tunes from the recent Live @ Create set to a video made by Wakey Wakey Productions which you can view below.

"This is the first video produced by Wakey Wakey Productions. This was created using material readily found on the internet and musically backed by the electronic sounds of The Rumblist (www.therumblist.co.uk).

Please check out www.myspace.com/wakethefukup and start to question what you hear on TV, come to your own conclusions after personal research - don't just blindly accept what the media tells you."

9th August 2006 - You can now download my live set that i unleashed upon Ashford @ Create Festival on July 30th. Click here for more details. Got to say a huge thanks to everyone who turned up to listen to my first live sonic assault upon Ashford. And also a big thank you to Tengo for hosting a very successful electronic music tent. Sadly Ashford's newspapers didn't feel the electronic tent was worth the lineage as they wrote about 4 lines of text and no photos, yet gave the main rock stage a full two page spread and photos. Few of the bands that played on the main stage are from Ashford, whereas the electronic tent was predominantly made up of local talent so i felt this would at least get coverage because of that - KM Newspapers usually love anything about local music...poor show from them!! Anyhoo, rant over!! To read Endtheory from Tengo's review click here.

9th July 2006 - ICKLE MEWGUL EP released.....sweet!! Click here for more info.

Also, be aware i will be playing live at the Create festival in Ashford on Sunday 30th July.

As part of my college course, i had to produce a flyer on a chosen artist so chose to do myself and my flyer is above.

19th June 2006 - Hello all!! I have uploaded my profile onto Channel 4's Unsigned Music showcase they are running, so head over there now and VOTE FOR ME and you might hear me on the telly!! To head over there, click here.

16th April 2006 - Moshi moshi!!! I have now added a Reviews section to the site. You can use the button above to find excerpt reviews of my tunes. Also, i now have a MySpace for more Rumblist bizness. I don't fully understand how to set up my main page on that, so any help would be greatly appreciated!! ;-) Will also try to keep the blog up to date. Here's the links:
